BIWAKO HANAKAIDO is a ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) located in Ohmi in Shiga Prefecture.

In the surrounding areas, you can take a trip to the the temple situated at the top of Mount Hiei, or simply admire the breathtaking views which were made famous by ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige (also known as Ando Hiroshige) in one of his most well-known works: "8 Views of Ohmi".

At Lake Biwa you can take part in a variety of water sports, such as kayaking, windsurfing, and jet skiing. Theme parks are also located around the lake. Free shuttle service is available from the nearest JR train stations to the hotel.
